Jonathan Backstrom Quartet is an acoustic improvising quartet based in Helsinki with members from Finland and Sweden. Bassist/composer Jonathan Backstrom leads the quartet and they are set on a mission to navigate and discover the music that is being created in the moment. The quartet's expression consists of minimalistic landscapes and explosive, multi-layered free improvisation and is the result of each musician bringing their individual voices to create a strong, collective statement. The group consists of Backstrom, saxophonists Adele Sauros (of Superposition) and Marcus Warnheim, and drummer Benjamin Nylund - each an active member of the vibrant Nordic scene.

When will my order arrive?

• We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours* 
• Standard UK delivery is a Royal Mail Tracked 48® service and usually arrives within 2-5 working days, including Saturdays.
• Express UK delivery is either a Royal Mail Tracked 24® or DPD service, for delivery within two working days (if ordered by 2pm, Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays).
• International: Ireland is a Tracked service that usually arrives within 3 - 5 working days.
• We’ll aim to dispatch pre-orders so that you receive them on the release date.

*Items must be in stock to be dispatched within these timeframes. Where an item is 'Back in stock soon', we'll aim to receive more stock within a week and will dispatch orders once the stock has arrived.
