But Folk Bitch Trio, former high school friends Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington and Gracie Sinclair, have a shared sense of humour that is embedded deep in their music, and that sets it alight, safe from the self-serious traps of the genre. 'Now Would Be A Good Time', their debut album, tells vivid, visceral stories, and is funny and darkly ironic in the manner of writers like Mary Gaitskill or Otessa Moshfegh. Their music sounds familiar, but the songs are modern, youthful, singing acutely through dissociative daydreams and galling breakups, sexual fantasies and media overload, all the petty resentments and minor humiliations of being in your early twenties in the 2020's.

    When will my order arrive?

    • We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours* 
    • Standard UK delivery is a Royal Mail Tracked 48® service and usually arrives within 2-5 working days, including Saturdays.
    • Express UK delivery is either a Royal Mail Tracked 24® or DPD service, for delivery within two working days (if ordered by 2pm, Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays).
    • International: Ireland is a Tracked service that usually arrives within 3 - 5 working days.
    • We’ll aim to dispatch pre-orders so that you receive them on the release date.
    *Items must be in stock to be dispatched within these timeframes. Where an item is 'Back in stock soon', we'll aim to receive more stock within a week and will dispatch orders once the stock has arrived.
